Chinese Bloggers Set to Tour the North Caucasus

At a press conference this week, the General Director of the Mineralnye Vody International Airport, Roman Chuev told reporters Chinese bloggers will take part in the blog tour "Visit Caucasus" in the North Caucasus District.

According to the news from Interfax, the first tour of bloggers will embark on a tour of the various attractions of the region, and then report their discoveries to their readership. The initiative, accoding to Chuev, is being conducted within the framework of opening direct flights into Mineralnye Vody from China, in order to further develop inbound tourism to the region.

The head of the Council of the "New silk road — the path of peace", Valery Kaygorodov also noted that the visitng bloggers have an estimated 40 milion subscribrs to their blogs collectivley. Kaigorodov added this: 

"Our job is to evangelize the region within the Internet environment in China, where about 640 million Internet users, most of them mobile and in social networks, exchange impressions of wonderful travel experiences. Our task is to reveal the best the North Caucasus has to offer to those millions of people." 

Mr. Kaygorodov went on to tell of how this blog tour is another great way to stimulate demand for the tourism product North Caucasus. The project is being implemented with the support of the the Corporation "resorts of the North Caucasus", the Russian Federal Agency for tourism, the International airport "Mineral Water", and tour operator "Growth".
